Welcome to Lockgate Coffee House! On the border where Tiverton meets Beeston Brook our cosy coffee house can be found between the historic Shropshire Canal and the railway line overlooking the River Gowy.

Owners Paul and Rachel Pickering are Piano Technicians, coffee lovers and enjoy the occasional cycling trips and the great outdoors so it will come to no surprise that this coffee house encompasses the passion for all these things in one place.

We take great pride in our coffee supplied by the independent roasters Crosby Coffee from Liverpool. Each cup is made with passion for the craft.

To go with your perfect drink we always have a great selection of treats. With a mixture of home made baking and our supplier of great cakes and pastries.

Breakfast & Lunch
We are known here at the Lockgate for our full breakfasts. Meat eaters and Vegetarians alike can enjoy a full English or a delicious Granola Sundae if fruit is more your thing. A selection of Pastries are available both for eating in or takeaway.

With 24 years in the music industry working with musicians from all over the world, Paul and Rachel are excited to bring live intimate music evenings to the Lockgate. Hopefully making this the perfect little music hub for the area. Live Jazz, good food and intimate atmosphere the Lockgate makes the perfect location to make these evenings happen.
