Welcome to Lockgate Coffee House! On the border where Tiverton meets Beeston Brook our cosy coffee house can be found between the historic Shropshire Canal and the railway line overlooking the River Gowy.

Paul and Rachel Pickering took ownership of Lockgate in November 2024.

Homemade Baking

We believe there is simply no substitute for freshly made cakes. We bake fresh cakes daily and like to mix up the choice, although we usually keep a few of the top three favourites the same! If you have a particular request please feel free to give us call and we will do our best to have that cake ready for your visit!

DogFriendly

Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome at LCH. We have a lovely selection of dog treats on sale and you can treat your furry friend to a special puppuccino!

Pick your book, and put your feet up

Whether you need a reference book for your tricky crossword, a poem for a little soul searching or want to check your position on the bicycle; we will have a book for to you peruse at Lockgate Coffee House.
